Is Costco open on Thanksgiving?
No. Costco's own holiday pages say it plainly: “In observance of Thanksgiving, Costco will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26, 2026.” Every US warehouse is closed for the day, and so are the food courts, pharmacies and other services inside them.
Costco.com does not close. It runs a short list of online-only Thanksgiving Day offers, valid on November 26 only: this year a 100-inch Samsung TV, two Lenovo laptops, a leather recliner and restaurant gift cards, among others. They're listed with the rest of the season on our Costco Black Friday deals page. Ordering the meal instead of cooking it? Costco's pre-order Thanksgiving turkey dinner has a cut-off weeks before the day.
Costco hours on Black Friday and Cyber Monday
Costco reopens on Black Friday, Friday, November 27, at its usual Friday hours: 9 a.m. for Executive members, who have had an early hour on weekdays since June 2025 (see Costco Executive membership), and 10 a.m. for Gold Star and Business members. Unlike most big retailers, Costco doesn't open early or hold doorbusters at the door. Its Black Friday offers run all weekend, from Friday through Monday, November 30, in warehouses and online.
Cyber Monday is a normal Monday in the warehouse. Costco's Cyber Monday offers are online only, for that one day; we list them on our Costco Cyber Monday page.
